Just my size Does
Most does are bred once a year some are bred for early spring kidding and some are bred for late spring kidding. Please see our 'just kidding' page for a schedule.I don't believe in breeding until a doe is over 1 year in age.
During summer months, does are pasture fed on 5 acre plots that are rotated as necessary. During winter months, they are free fed a mixture of grass and alfalfa hay and are supplemented with calf manna to keep them shiny and help them deal with the rugged winter weather. We here at Country Mama use an herbal blend wormer once a week combined with an herbal toner and thorivin kelp to keep all our animals healthy and parasite-free. All our girls enjoy lodging at our little red barn that we converted from a horse barn.
Our does kid at our mini barn for ease of night checks and shortly after get moved to our comfy greenhouse paddocks so mom and babies can enjoy some bonding time in the sunshine without wind, rain or snow. Heaters run on the coldest nights but mostly a heat lamp and chihuahua coats are all our tiny babies require.

Justmysize Cooki Doe
Chocolate Sundgau Buckskin with random white marks, white poll and facial stripes
Triplet
DOB:
Dam: Walla2Meadows Silver Beauty
Sire: Tader Acres Gallileo II
Cooki has to be the cutest goat I've ever seen. She has the sweetest 'roll with it' attitude and has the patience needed for first time milkers. She has long teats and nice BIG orifices. She needs better udder support. She also has wide toes that I'm hoping to breed out.

Justmysize milky whey
White with flowered black, black dorsal stripe, and white poll
Triplet
DOB:-
Milky LOVES to give kisses! She has one of the funniest personalities I've ever seen on a goat. She has wonderfully LONG teats with a good support system, and HUGE capacity. In peak, as a ff, she was giving over half gallon a day. She is a really great little milk goat. She can be bossy and quite a handful but she is worth it.

2chicks farm valentina
White with red spots and Blue eyes
DOB: 02/19/2011
Dam: C-Springs Angelina
Sire: Glory Be Farms Vincent Vangoat
Tina is very shy and cautious. She doesn't take to strangers at all, but, once you've proven your going to be around for awhile, she comes around. She is very sweet and gentle. She has nice attachments but could use better medial support and longer teats. She is a very visually striking doe with her white/blue eyes and red lipstick. I wish she was friendlier.

Bridget, or BRIE as I call her, is very friendly and loves everyone. She has a good pedigree and shows lots of potential. Unfortunately I can't seem to get a picture that does her justice.

Dark brown Sundgau with white belly band and markings, white poll and frosted nose and ears
triplet
DOB: 2/28/12
Dam: Harmony Mtn Opal
Sire: JustRSize Wy
Sara is a beautiful Junior doe. She isn't as long as my other does but has nice width between her hocks and has alot of dairy characteristics. She has a very slender body type and a babydoll face. She has a small tight udder with a good support system and well placed small teats. Sara is a firecracker! We had to add 2 feet to our fences when she came to the farm. Now they top out at 6'6" and are finally able to keep her in. Full sister to Coconut below

Coconut is a nice little full bodied doe. She has always had a very active rumen and I expect her to be a big producer. Full sister to Sara above. Coco is a 'lap' goat and I couldn't be happier with her sweet disposition.

Jelly is such a sweet girl. She was pretty sick when I got her from her previous owner(NOT ALMAR ACRES), but we were able to pull her out of it with B-Complex and a series of herbal tonics. As well as treating her for lungworm. She has very correct front legs and feet and nice width. She also has a nice long body. I expect good things from her. Jellys udder is well attached with good medial support. She could use longer teats. Jelly's handler in this picture is 4 years old.

DOB: 5/11/12
DAM: POPPY PATCH NOT THAT INNOCENT
SIRE: KW FARMS BB CAPTAIN BUCK
Beyla is a beautiful little doe. She has a few minor issues that we are hoping will correct themselves in time. For now, no bucks will be sold out of Beyla. Beyla unfortunately lost her milk due to her poor health prior to coming to our farm. Bey is a very slender bodied doe and hides her pregnant belly well. She is long with decent width. I hope to get an accurate appraisal on her udder this season. Thus far she has a small tight udder with good support. She could use longer teats.

Laughing Willow Maglia
Black and white Roaned with extensive white
DOB:
Dam: Laughing Willow Biscuit
Sire: Laughing Willow Buckminster
Mags is quite the explorer. After only 2 days with us she disappeared out of the field. Being just weened and unfamiliar with the area I feared the worst. And after 5 days I gave up on her returning. However, on day 6, she not only returned but somehow showed up 1/4mile away from the pasture in our front yard. I have taken to calling this little girl Marco Polo. Maggie is growing up to be long and full bodied. She has great width and I expect good things to come from her. She will be bred for 2015 babies.
